Slippery elm is a North American tree valued for its inner bark, traditionally used for centuries for its soothing and calming properties. Rich in natural mucilage, slippery elm forms a gel-like coating providing targeted support to help soothe and calm the GI tract. This coating lines the digestive tract, helping to reduce discomfort, protect irritated tissues and support healthy mucous membranes.

Available as easy-to-take capsules. If required, the contents can be removed and mixed with a little water, ideal for individuals who have difficulty swallowing capsules.

How to take it

1-2 capsules daily as a food supplement or as directed by a practitioner.

As a drink: Mix the contents of a capsule into a smooth paste with cold water and slowly add boiling water (or milk/milk substitute if preferred) stirring briskly.
